The National Church of England Academy are recruiting a talented, dynamic and ambitious Teacher of Science for September 2019 or January 2020 dependent on availability.  The successful applicant should be innovative and able to inspire, should set high standards of teaching and learning and demonstrate leadership qualities; they will join a very committed, collaborative and forward thinking team. 


Science is a thriving and popular subject within The National Church of England Academy.  This permanent role provides an excellent opportunity to work in a high-quality and well-resourced environment and is suitable for both experienced or NQT candidates - a job share will be considered if there are two suitable applicants.  The timetable consists of KS3 and KS4 classes so experience in these key stages is desirable.  There is also the opportunity to teach KS5 to an appropriate candidate.
